The Pensioners Campaign UK has voted overwhelmingly to support the FairFuelUK in supporting the fight for lower petrol and diesel prices. The cost of filling up a car is hitting pensioners harder than many sectors of the population. The majority are on a low and fixed income and cannot take increasing fuel price increases for much longer.

Peter Carroll, Founder of FairFuelUK said: "17 out of 20 pensioners said in our FairFuelUK survey, they wanted a cut in fuel duty with 73% saying that MPs are out of touch with understanding the damaging impact of high fuel prices on pensioners. More than1 in 3 pensioners also said they would not vote for their MP unless they supported the reduction in the cost of fuel by voting to scrap the 3p.”
