In my opinion the price of Petrol / Diesel should be standard all round the country.

It has been suggested to me that there should be a campaign to reduce the demand for diesel fuel for private vehicle travel. Increasing the price of diesel for private travel only to do this is not practicable. Perhaps having an increased tax on new private diesel vehicles could result in there being less competition for diesel and a price drop for diesel fuel that would be of specific benefit to commercial vehicles.
